The PS4 is an engineering marvel. There’s no doubt about it. The small and compact size of the console is something quite surprising considering it packs a lot of punch and the power supply is actually inside the console.
So how did they manage to do that? Well, Sony is a hardware company after all, and PlayStation is one of their most important brands. Sony didn’t allow people to directly compare the PS3 and the PS4, however Sony WWS president Shuhei Yoshida has said that the console matches the second gen PS3 in size but is a lot slimmer than it.
He also revealed that the colour of the LED on the controller actually matches the face buttons.
The power brick will also be internal, he revealed.
So what do you think? Do you like the PS4 design? Well then you’d be interested to see the console in different colours and it does look absolutely stunning in white. Yoshida also revealed that the PS4 vertical stand will be sold separately.
