Xbox One: Microsoft secures Tom Clancy’s The Division exclusive content

Microsoft has just announced at their Gamescom conference that Tom Clancy’s The Division Xbox One version would contain some exclusive content. There’s no live stream at present but this was announced by the company just now.

We don’t know what type of content it is, but Ubisoft has been known to give away such content to Sony as well. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Watch_Dogs both contain some exclusive content on PS3 and PS4.

The game does not have any release date yet, but it is expected to be released in 2014. Microsoft also talked about the second screen functionality with The Division and the game supports Smartglass as well. This functionality was briefly detailed where they mentioned that Smartglass users can join games and assist a squad. They will also be able to highlight opponents and send in air strikes.

We will keep you updated as we hear more. Stay tuned.
