Xbox One: Microsoft releases statement on used games, literally says nothing

Microsoft has released a statement in hopes of stopping the speculation about used games on the Xbox One.

Many reports have been spotted at media outlets but none of them have actually given a true indicator of what type of plans Microsoft have. The company has said that they will be releasing more information later but that’s not stopping people from vilifying them.

Major Nelson posted this statement:

The ability to trade in and resell games is important to gamers and to Xbox. Xbox One is designed to support the trade in and resale of games. Reports about our policies for trade in and resale are inaccurate and incomplete. We will disclose more information in the near future.

So that basically means nothing and we still don’t know what type of policy Microsoft have on trading and used games. They may be trying to hide something based on all the secrecy but E3 2013 is a few weeks away, and more information could be revealed there.
