Microsoft has reversed its plan of not including a headset in the Xbox One bundle. The pricing has not been changed, it’s still going to cost $499 but now it will include a headset as well.
This information comes via UK distributor Gem who communicated the updated list to their partners in the country. It remains to be seen whether other regions will also have the same policy, but this is good news.
The Kinect sensor was said to be capable of acting as a microphone and has echo cancellation features, but considering the company bundled a headset with every Xbox 360, it was seen as a regressive move.
Earlier there were a lot of accessories for Xbox One which were revealed and the pictures of the headset can also been seen there. It looks solidly built. The system is priced at $499 and will be released in 21 markets around the world.
We will keep you updated once we receive more information on this. Stay tuned to Gamechup.
Note: This is still a rumour at this point reported by many sites so take it with a pinch of salt.
