Microsoft has released a new ad showing how the Start button works in Windows 8.1. The latest version of the highly criticized operating system which originally came with a Metro interface intended for touch screen devices, received a lot of flak from desktop users.
The latest version of the OS aims to rectify that and allows users to switch between the Start button and the Metro interface. The Start button cannot be switched off by users.
Windows 8.1 is a free update for Windows users and can be downloaded from the Windows Store. It will be available on October 18.
