AMD TressFX is a new technology for enhancing hair physics and it works as well based on this new video.
Tomb Raider is the first game to support the tech and you can see Lara’s glorious hair moving in the wind and looking really realistic. You can enable it in the options menu and also tinker with the graphics settings. It’s not clear whether this option is available to Nvidia owners but since it’s probably doesn’t use specialized hardware, it should work.
This is the beginning of the game so no spoilers here but if you own a PC then you really should get the game on it as it is a good port. We have more details on how it works, along with some screenshots as well.
