Valve has surprisingly fired Jeri Ellsworth.
She worked at hardware R&D for next generation devices at the company. Valve’s Steam Box has been gaining a lot of traction, so this firing comes at an odd time.
It’s not clear what the reasons are, but she was clearly disappointed, and let out a series of tweets. Here Linkedin profile mentions that she was at Valve for 1 year and 7 months.
Maybe she didn’t meet Valve’s quality requirements or they just didn’t need her? We will keep you updated once we hear more information on this.
