Square Enix it seems has included a DRM with the PSN version of Tomb Raider.
UPDATE: The text about always online internet required was mistakenly put there by the store staff. The game requires no internet connection to launch.
ORIGINAL STORY: This is what greets the player on the PSN Store. You have to sign in to PSN whenever you play the game, however, the retail version does not have this requirement.
It’s unclear why such a DRM has been implemented on the PSN version but we will send an e-mail to Square Enix.
Meanwhile if you are planning to buy the digital version, it would be advisable to wait for a while.

No more than one activated PS3 system within a 24 hour period. Content may not be used by any other account. You must sign in to PSN each time you start the game.
We’ve seen such a DRM before in select downloadable titles but this could be the first time it has actually been implemented in an AAA game.
We will keep you updated.
