Valve has big plans for Steam and we’ve known rumours of them working on a Steam Box which didn’t go anywhere till now, but it looks like they still have something up their sleeve.
The service boasts of millions of members and what better way to make it more mainstream than making it living room friendly. Valve has opened a cryptic page which tells you that “The Steam Universe is expanding in 2014”.
Last year, we shipped a software feature called Big Picture, a user-interface tailored for televisions and gamepads.
This year we’ve been working on even more ways to connect the dots for customers who want Steam in the living-room.
