Namco Bandai has announced Soul Calibur II HD for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game is developed by Project Soul, and reimagines the original game by adding online multiplayer support, and also increases the graphics to bring it to the current gen era.
The multiplayer features a brand new netcore from the Project Soul development team, so there are less chances of lag ruining matches. The modes are: Arcade, Survival, VS Battle, Time Attack, Survival, Team Battle, Practice and Weapon Master.
“For more than a decade the Soul Calibur franchise has been one of the preeminent head-to-head fighting franchises for consoles,” Namco Bandai’s Chris Gilbert said. “Soul Calibur II HD Online lets fans relive an important chapter of the series’ history with beautifully enhanced graphics and new online gameplay.”
