Sony Blacklists Journo Reporting on Toxic Work Conditions at Quantic Dream

Quantic Dream, the studio behind Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, are working on the upcoming game Detroit: Become Human.

The game has received positive impressions so far at trade events and will be released this year. However, a new report in a French publication has revealed that the studio has abusive and toxic work environment with homophobic, racist and sexist comments aimed at its staff along with sexual misconduct.

Other French outlets have corroborated these claims as well.

David Cage has obviously rubbished these claims and has released a statement.

“You want to talk about homophobia? I work with Ellen Page, who fights for LGBT rights. You want to talk about racism? I work with Jesse Williams, who fights for civil rights in the USA… Judge me by my work.”

It appears that Sony has blacklisted the journalist who first reported this although later he was assured via a ‘text message’ that this is not the case. I guess because of the backlash.
