Shuhei Yoshida, president of the Sony worldwide studios, has revealed what his favourite feature is. Surprise, surprise, it isn’t remote play, or any of the fancy stuff the PS4 comes with, it’s actually support for indie games.
It’s nice to see Sony’s approach this generation with the PS4 and they seem to be doing everything right so far and have learned their lessons with the PS3, where the hardware was difficult to develop for and had a lot of issues, and made it difficult for developers to code for it.
They showed their indie support at E3 this year where a lot of developers came on stage and were showing off their games on separate screens. Adam Boyes has been incredibly influential in getting all the third-party support so far for the system and he also was present at E3 and showcased all the indie games on stage.
