This is one of the things I’m most upset about. Volition creative director Steve Jaros revealed at Comic-Con during a Saints Row 4 panel that the ending had a Bollywood dance number but they had to cancel that for many reasons.
They had trouble finding out which Bollywood song to license and that of course can be a very difficult thing especially if you are not really that tuned into the industry back there. The motion capture and choreography required to pull off such a complex scene would have been costly, and it was one of the main reasons why they had to cancel it.
According to Jaros: “The stars didn’t line up, but assured Comic-Con attendees “the spirit of the Bollywood dance number happens [at the end] and it is poetry in motion. It is so good.”
The game features Johnny Gat, and his arrival was announced in a spectacular way. The game comes out on September 20th for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
