Deep Silver has announced that Saints Row 4 has hit 1 million sales in just a week. This is a great accomplishment considering the PC sales have tripled the PC sales of Saints Row: The Third.
“We are incredibly happy of the reception for Saints Row IV as a critical and now a commercial success,” said Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of parent company Koch Media. “The development team at Volition is second-to-none as a driving creative force in the entertainment industry and we are very proud to have them as part of the Deep Silver family.”
Saints Row 4’s online community also seems to be expanding at a rapid rate with a million registrations in the first week. A lot of custom content have also been created by fans with 806,908 pieces of user-generated content. It probably should be more now but good of Deep Silver to give the accurate number.
In addition, two DLCs costing $2.99 each will be released today and these are the Presidential Pack which allows you to play as American presidents and kick ass all over Simulated Steelport. The second DLC called Grass Roots Pack adds some clothing and weaponry to the game.
The game is pretty awesome too as our review suggests. We gave the game a solid 9/10 score.
