Sony has revealed that this week’s PSN update will be delayed due to a maintenance.
This maintenance has lasted for a long time and is on an odd day considering how busy weekdays are. The US store hasn’t been updated and will feature Soul Sacrifice demo for the PS Vita which is something that many players are interested.
The US PS Blog has 2,300 comments from players who are unhappy about this issue. But this maintenance shouldn’t last too long unless they’ve been hacked again, which means a delay for a month or so, but that seems unlikely.
Maybe Sony has learned from the Xbox Live outage this week and has tried to increase security on PSN as well? Can’t really say for sure.
We urge gamers to be patient and not rage as Grace Chen will update the store eventually.
