PS4 specs are real and pack a punch, controller and user accounts revealed

It seems we finally have the latest dev kit specs of the PS4, and the specs powering that is quite stunning.

According to a new reveal, it is said that these specs are real as of January 2013, and we also have some new information on user accounts on the Orbis and also about the controller that was revealed to be different than the Dualshock.

The dev kit is known as —model # DVKT-KS000K officially the specs are said to be different from the earlier March 2012 ones.

It has 8GB RAM but Kotaku hasn’t mentioned what type of RAM it is. It also has a 2.2.GB of video memory. The processor is said to be Dual-Core AMD64 Bulldozer which has 8x cores in all. The system has a Blu Ray drive and 160GB HDD.

The thing to note here is that, these are dev kit specs and are different from the real specs which are said to be 8x Jaguar cores, 4GB GDDR5 RAM, and some AMD GPU that brings the system’s power to 1.84 teraflops.

They also revealed some new information on the accounts system which allows multiple users to be logged into the system.
