Geoff Keighley has revealed on GT’s bonus round that Sony will be going with the same used game DRM as Microsoft for the PS4.
This isn’t surprising since Microsoft wouldn’t have taken such a step without support from a major rival. It looks like these companies are determined to protect the industry from used games which supposedly causes a loss to content creators.
Sony has been awfully quiet nowadays since Microsoft has been taking all the blame for their policies, but they may announce this at E3 themselves. They have no reason no to because even their own developers have complained about used game sales hurting their revenue.
