Sony has announced a new 1TB PS4 called the Ultimate Player Edition. As the name suggests, it has a 1TB harddrive and possible based on new FCC filings, it will be lighter and consume less power as well.
Now many PS4 games can really be around 30-50GB in size and it can add up eventually requiring you to delete or upgrade your harddrive. You can either opt for an SSD, Hybrid drive or a normal 7200RPM or 10000RPM HDD. The new PS4 doesn’t seem to have a lot of new features and Sony hasn’t revealed the price yet.
They say that it will be released in Europe and PAL territories for now and to check your local retailer for pricing. The PS4 may be in matte finish as well which is great news to people who don’t like glossy electronics.
We will keep you updated once we hear more on this.
