Sony has made the PS Vita firmware 2.60 live and you can download it right now.

The changelog can be found on the download screen but one of the most important features are that you can turn off your WiFi but holding the PS button.

How cool is that? The change log also adds that: “The usability of many features have been improved”.

Uploading and downloading of save data using online storage has been improved, you can select the PS Plus icon on the LiveArea screen for each application.

Here are some more:

  • You can now play content saved on a connected device (PS3 or PC) with [Videos] and [Music].
  • Some items have been added to the menu that appears when you press and hold the PS button.
  • [Devices] has been newly added under [Settings] and [Bluetooth Settings] has been moved under [Devices].

We will update with more features as we find them. Stay tuned.
