Sony has dropped the price of the PS Vita to $199. This brings it in line with the 3DS XL and a sales boost seems certain at this point, but it’s hard to say how the market will react.
The Vita came out in 2011 and has been selling poorly but with the recent influx of indie games, the system’s potential has been brought out by Sony. More details on the Indie games will be released later, but Sony showed a new IP called Murasaki during the conference.
They also announced that they will be dropping the price of the PS Vita memory cards. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
