PES 2015 runs at 720p/60fps On Xbox One, 1080p/60fps on PS4

ps4 xbox one pes 2015

Well, Konami has just revealed that the Xbox One version of FIFA 15 runs at 720p and 60 fps. Now you won’t find that to be a big deal but the problem is the PS4 runs at 1080p and 60fps.

This is probably the biggest difference in a multiplatform game this gen and it doesn’t look like freeing some resources from Kinect did Microsoft any good.

Not that 720p is a bad resolution but the PS4 version is just going to look a lot crisp and detailed. If you own both the consoles it’s clear which console you should buy the game for.

PES 2015 runs on the Fox Engine and Konami have significantly improved the visuals and animations. This year’s PES will give a lot of competition to FIFA 15 and it remains to be seen if it takes its throne back.

Why do you mention FIFA 2015? That one is made by EA. Dont be too quick to pick the PS4 version. The Xbox One supports twice as many players and that may be the reason to lower the resolution.

This is poor optimization by the devs. There are way more demanding games that run at 1080p on the Xbox. This has nothing to do with the SDK kit.
