Wii U fans will not get to play Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on the system. This must be disappointing news to the few that actually did buy the previous CoD game on the system, but it looks like Activision has decided not to release the latest one for the console.
This was revealed by Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey on Twitter. He wrote: “No Wii U. That was an Activision decision. We are focused on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.”
Earlier Ubisoft had also confirmed that Watch_Dogs will be the last AAA game they will be publishing on the Wii U. Assassin’s Creed Rogue will not be released on the system as well, which is a surprise because Assassin’s Creed 3 was pretty good utilizing most of the gamepad features.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released on November 4th on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
