EA has announced Mirror’s Edge 2 at their E3 press conference. The game was rumoured to be in development for a long time and has finally been announced.
It’s a next-gen game and will be released on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It is being developed on the Frostbite 3 engine.
“We introduced Mirror’s Edge and Faith to gamers five years ago, and we’ve waited for the right moment to reunite them,” said Sara Jansson, Senior Producer, DICE.
“Thanks to the Frostbite engine and a new generation of platforms, we are now able to deliver a richer world that players will be able to explore with a new level of freedom in both movement and action.”
The game is a reboot and features Faith, the protagonist of the first game. It is an all-new origins story for the character.
