Minecraft Windows 10 Version Announced, Free for Existing Players

Microsoft have just announced a Windows 10 version of Minecraft and unlike other PC versions, this is being treated as a new platform and will have features that takes advantage of the new OS.

Existing players on the PC will get the new version for free while new players can pay $10 to get the Windows 10 version.

The new version of the game for PC was announced at Minecon. Windows 10 comes out in July and the game’s beta will also be released that month.

Minecraft IP was sold to Microsoft for $2.5 billion and it is one of the highest selling games of all time.
