Minecraft PS4 fails certification, Mojang fixing issues

Well it looks like PS4 owners have to wait some more time before getting their hands on Minecraft. The game has failed certification according to Mojang Studios and they will have to fix the issues and send it to Sony again.

The game has sold an insurmountable number of copies and considering the PS4 install base which reached 10 million recently, they look to be selling a decent amount on next-gen consoles as well.

Here’s what they tweeted:

Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of #MinecraftPS4 :( We’re fixing, but we need to go through the process again.

Disappointing news, surely? But what could have been the problem? Hopefully it was something serious that they spotted and will be rectified soon by Mojang.
