We will finally be getting the successor to DirectX 11.1 as Microsoft has announced that DirectX 12 will be unveiled on March 20th at GDC 2014. DirectX is basically a collection of APIs that allows programmers show their creativity.
There are four logos visible in the teaser image, namely: Intel, Qualcomm, Nvidia and AMD. It’s not clear whether the Xbox One will support DirectX 12 but it has to be made with it in mind. We will keep you updated once we get more information on this.
