Microsoft has lifted some details off the Xbox One digital library and the good news is that everyone in your family will be able to access the digital titles on your console.
The policy is similar to what you find on the Xbox 360 and here’s a rundown of what it entails:
Xbox Live members will be able to share gold features with any member in their family. It’s something they are calling Home Gold.
You have the power to make sure anyone in your home can use the Xbox One console and access Xbox Live Gold features. You can also log in at a friend’s house and enjoy multiplayer gaming while logged in.
You don’t have to share your gamertag for multiplayer gaming with others in your home, or see recommendations for your kid’s cartoons next to the recommended first-person shooter for you. It also means that you can introduce new games and enjoy multiplayer with friends while they are at your house. Last but not least, it also means that when you buy one Xbox Live Gold membership, multiple people can enjoy the best benefits of Xbox Live Gold on your Xbox One at no additional charge.
Microsoft has released a lot more details on the sharing policy. They are all similar to the ones on the Xbox 360 and the policies aren’t that complicated.
