Iwata against releasing new hardware until current users are satisfied

Satoru Iwata, President of Nintendo Co., Ltd., poses after Nintendo's E3 presentation of their new Nintendo 3DS at the E3 Media & Business Summit in Los Angeles

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has stated that the company won’t release new hardware until the current users (Wii U owners) are satisfied.

It was rumoured that the company would release some sort of hardware this year, but Iwata has put that rumour to rest.

However, he did say that they are working on the next-generation of products.

He also mentioned that they  are targeting emerging markets and want to create mass market products at a cheaper price point.
