If Steam is discontinued, “measures are in place” for users to access their games

Have you wondered what will happen if Valve goes bankrupt, or if they discontinue the Steam network?

No? Well, one thing is for sure, you will still be able to access your Steam games in case something happens to the service.

The official Steam FAQ or terms of service does not mention this but a Reddit user has managed to get this info out from the support tech.

Here’s the answer support tech gave Reddit user Salmantica:

“In the unlikely event of the discontinuation of the Steam network, measures are in place to ensure that all users will continue to have access to their Steam games,” the message reads.

Now we don’t know what “measures” they are talking about, and considering it’s not in the Steam TOS, Valve can still technically do whatever they want, so take this info with a grain of salt.
