Hyundai Canada creates new ad “Gaspocalypse” inspired by Motorstorm

Hyundai Canada, the car manufacturer has created a new ad, and it will remind you of Sony’s Motorstorm series.

It’s called “Big Game Day Commercial”, and shows cars and bikes surrounding the cute like Hyundai car which is valiantly trying to beat them, or something.

It wins in the end obviously, like all cars in their respective ads do. Have you ever seen a car manufacturer showing their car going out in a blaze of glory in an ad?

OK, I think I may be stretching a bit here. It doesn’t say it is inspired by Sony’s series implicitly, but Gaspocalypse is also reminiscent of the third Motorstorm game which was called Motorstorm Apocalypse.

They surely would have mentioned something about Sony if it was indeed done with their permission. Check out the ad below, it’s nicely made.

    Dill R i have to disappoint you and say your wrong, you need to do your research this commercial is based on a movie called Mad Max with mel gibson. Nice try but you failed
