Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Ubisoft’s open world co-op tactical shooter that has had no hype so far, is actually selling pretty well and has dethroned Horizon: Zero Dawn which debuted 1st in the UK last week.
Horizon: Zero Dawn’s position lasted just a week as Wildlands has shown that people are still interested in the Tom Clancy brand. We do not know how the response will be in the US but considering previous games have sold decently, it could do well too.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild hasn’t sold all that well so far but that’s understandable due to the Wii U install base and considering the fact that the Switch is a new system.
It is a critically acclaimed game though and will have long legs if Nintendo bundles it with the Switch console.
It remains to be seen if Wildlands can hold the no 1 spot next week.
