Microsoft has just announced at their conference that Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox One will contain dedicated servers. It will be powered by the Cloud. This was something Infinity Ward had also explained earlier, but now we have an official confirmation of it.
Dedicated servers reduces latency and makes matchmaking a breeze. Gamers don’t have to rely on their ping or latency since everything will be handled by the server and not the hosting player’s connection.
The game comes out on November 5 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, along with the next-gen versions sometime later this year.
