Square Enix has finally released the HD direct feed video of the tech demo they streamed recently. We get a better idea of how the game’s visuals are going to look and when you compare it to the 2013 demo, it certainly looks really promising.

Below is a fire spell that is used on a Behemoth and you can clearly see that the new one looks miles better. Square Enix are in the process of completely transitioning the game to Luminous engine.

One thing is common here though! The Behemoth gets completely toasted. Final Fantasy XV is shaping up to be an incredible game and you can count on the game to provide some spectacular visuals. Some new details on the game were revealed earlier which gives some information on the demo you can play next year.

Particles look better, but the one on top looks like he is really grilling that beast, see all that smoke coming up. Downgrade Confirmed?

thats because according to Tabata weather conditions affect your spells, for example if you use fire during rain like in the recent one, the spell gets apparently weaker looking as well as weaker damage
