Square Enix has announced that the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy will be heading to Steam. This includes all the three games released on consoles so far: Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

Say what you want about the quality of these games, but the graphics on offer in FFXIII is simply a sight to behold and it will undoubtedly look even better on the PC.

Square Enix is offering a 10% discount initially and the promotion will end on October 9th. You can pre-purchase the game now. The release date for Final Fantasy XIII Steam version is on October 9th. The other games will follow soon.

Final Fantasy XIII costs $15.99 and after applying the 10% discount it can be had for $14.39.

They have also revealed that the series has shipped 11 million copies so far. That’s pretty impressive and I bet Final Fantasy XIII holds the maximum share from that amount.

I just bought the game. It’s not a port and even if it’s a bit casual I’ll still support it because I want more FF on Steam.
