Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto has apologised for the delay in bringing Final Fantasy X to the Vita.
He has confirmed that more information about the game will be announced soon, and has also shown off a new trailer that showcases the improvements in the character models in the Vita version of the game.
The PS3 version was not shown at the conference. This came at an event where Sony also announced a price cut for the Vita in Japan, and an Icy Blue model was also unveiled.
The game was announced at E3 2011 and there has been very few information on it since then, and it seems like the company hasn’t started working on the remaster yet. The trailer shows gorgeous models and is certainly an upgrade over the PS2 version.
The trailer does not show much gameplay, and there was no release date mentioned for the game. We also have the screenshots which you can check out below along with the trailer.
