Fallout 4 officially announced, first screenshot, platforms and more

fallout 4 hype

Bethesda has been teasing an announcement which was supposed to be revealed in a few hours, however, it has been leaked via the official Fallout 4 website.

The game is coming to the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Yes, that’s right. It’s not a cross-gen game. We also have the first screenshot of the game which you can see above.

Based on the screenshot it looks pretty similar to the previous games but a trailer should be on its way soon.

Meanwhile, the box art of the game can be found below. It’s pretty generic but hey it’s Fallout.

We will update this post with the trailer once it’s live. Hopefully, the trailer should be meaty and give us an idea of how the game will be.

Why in world would anyone even think it would be released on the last generation of console hardware. Those systems are over a decade old, and the hardware was technically old at the time they launched anyways. The sooner companies stop codling people hanging out on hardware they had 5+ years to save for a next gen replacement for, the sooner we’ll see better games. And Bethesda games usually need every scrap of system power since they aren’t the most efficient game engine. If it was releasing on 360/PS3 it would end up running no better than Skyrim and drag down the current gen versions. PC wouldn’t care, because PC Mods what gets broken to make it function on consoles anyways.
