Ex-Designer Alleges Abuse at Naughty Dog, Sony Tried To Bury It

A lot of people are coming forward reporting their negative experiences at Hollywood and it seems the floodgates have been opened.

Naughty Dog, a very progressive gaming studio, under Sony, has been hit with these allegations too. David Ballard, an ex-graphic designer at the studio, has tweeted that he was sexually harassed and Sony paid him money to go away.

His work environment became extremely toxic after the harassment in 2015 and the HR got involved as well. They fired him soon after.

He had worked as an environment artist on Uncharted 2, 3, 4 and The Last of Us. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was the mainline Uncharted game released in 2016.

Sony and Naughty Dog have not responded yet and we will post the update as soon as they do.

For now, these allegations aren’t confirmed since no names have been named yet but feel bad for the designer and hope he gets justice soon enough.
