EA to reveal new next-gen games at E3, includes one from DICE

DICE is making a new game that will be revealed at E3 this year.

EA has revealed via their shareholder filings that most of their internal studios are gearing up for next-gen and they will be showing some new titles in development for fiscal year 2014.

There is a new engine in development that’s not Frostbite 3 and new titles from EA Sports will be running on it, and they will be shown at E3.

“Regarding next generation consoles, we are under a non-disclosure agreement with our platform partners, however, we’re planning a full reveal at E3 including more next generation titles in development for FY14,” EA’s filing read.

“This will include breakthroughs in graphics and gameplay for some of our biggest franchises including Battlefield, FIFA, Madden, NBA LIVE, and Need for Speed. We plan to unveil new titles from EA SPORTS, Bioware, and DICE and a first look at some brand new games.”

Dragon Age 3 is also confirmed to be shown at the event. Could the DICE game be Mirror’s Edge 2? They said it would be a new title and not a new IP, so speculate away!
