You cannot switch off DualShock 4 lightbar, Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida has revealed.
The ligthtbar is similar to the four LEDs on the front of the DualShock 3 controller and they will light up once you press the PS button. The lightbar can also be used in conjunction with the PS Eye Camera to track players and for possibly some new games.
The DualShock 4 was first revealed on February 20 where Sony also announced the PS4. Mark Cerny demonstrated what the controller can do on stage, and it has been modified compared to the DS3.
You can check out the comparison video here. The console will be released sometime later this year. Stay tuned to more news and information at Gamechup.
