If you have the save files to the previous games in the Dragon Age series, then you will be able to carry over some of your decisions in the latest game, Dragon Age: Inquisition.
BioWare’s Patrick Weekes who revealed that they don’t really consider CD Projekt Red to be competition and want both games to do well, has mentioned that the previous save files will be compatible with the latest Dragon Age game.
“We know what we want to do. It will absolutely come across – your decisions carry [and] will matter,” he revealed at a PAX Australia panel, which you can check out below courtesy of Gamespot.
“The goal is that you can have an equally rich experience no matter which platform you’re playing on.
“There will absolutely be some ties to some of the previous games, maybe some of the books or that sort of thing that you’ll recognize if you’ve played the previous games,” Chris Priestly, community manager for BioWare added. “But they’re not going to be reliant on the previous games.”
