Cyberpunk 2077 to Feature both First and Third Person camera, More details

We have some new details on Cyberpunk 2077, courtesy of CD Projekt RED’s Siggraph 2013 talk. As shown in the image below, Cyberpunk 2077 which is scheduled to be released sometime later in 2015, will feature both first-person and third person elements.

The studio had earlier revealed that they are targeting CGI quality graphics for the game. We will keep you updated once we hear more on this. You can download the Siggraph PDF here.

    I hope it’s like the Bethesda ES and Fallout games, where you can do it on the fly. If it’s just based on certain gameplay scenarios, that force one or the other, it will be disappointing.

    As long as they have First Person, I’m happy. I’m sure Third person is great for… World of Warcrafts… But we’re talking near future, with guns. I find firearms to be atrocious in Third Person… not to mention T.P. is horrifically immersion-breaking.
