Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 as well. They announced the game for PS4, Xbox One and PC earlier, and now we have confirmation that it is coming on the last-gen platforms too.
However, there will be some differences. The game will have 4 player co-op on the next-gen platforms but only 2 player co-op on PS3 and Xbox 360. There will be other technical differences as well.
“There will also be some other features and functionality built specifically for the new generation of consoles that cannot be supported on Xbox 360 and PS3,” Activision added.
They’ve revealed that some people have not fully switched to the new consoles and this port, made by Beenox and Mercenary Technology, “will deliver the best possible experience”. The game will not be on the Wii U as expected.
