This should be a surprise to no one as Ubisoft has delayed the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag by a few weeks. They had done the same with Assassin’s Creed 3 and some of the previous games in the series and there’s no reason given for it.
It will launch a few weeks after the PS3, Xbox 360 and the Wii U port, according to Ashraf Ismail, the game director.
“We’re working hard on the PC version. It’s one of the main platforms we work on in the office. For our PC fans, don’t worry. The game on PC looks phenomenal,” he said.
The game will be released in October for the current gen consoles and it will also be released on the PS4 and Xbox One. The next-gen version features a lot of improvements.
