Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag release date confirmed, coming to PS4/Xbox 720

Ubisoft’s latest Assassin’s Creed game titled Black Flag was officially confirmed recently.

The game is also coming to the next-gen platforms from Sony and Microsoft, and will also be releasing on all the current gen consoles. The game’s release date has also been confirmed. It’s coming out on October 29th this year.

The date was revealed via the countdown website where it seems a new trailer will be shown. There is an embargo till 4th March, so we suspect the trailer will be shown then. It could be a CG trailer based on the image that was captured from the site.

We earlier revealed some details on the game. It is set in the Caribbean and players can explore multiple islands. The main protagonist will be the grandfather of Connor–who was the lead protagonist of Assassin’s Creed 3.

You can check out the box art of the game as well. It has 60 minutes of exclusive content for the PS3 version.
