PC gaming is extremely popular in Germany, and a new study suggests that almost 76% of German gamers play on a PC than other gaming platforms. This data was released by The Association for Information Technology, Telecommunication and new Media called Bitkom.
They broke down the numbers further where it was revealed that almost 44% use smartphones for gaming and 43% play on a console.
They also revealed the reason for the increase in smartphone gaming usage: “Smartphones have evolved within a few years to become a relevant game platform. The main reasons are the growing supply of cheap gaming apps and the improving representation due to faster graphics chips and high-resolution displays.”
This data is based on Bitkom survey where 517 gamers participated.
