Super Smash Bros. Wii U version has 3DS as controller support. Now, this isn’t confirmed by Nintendo but Gamespot has discovered that you can definitely use it.
You can also share custom fighter and import your 3DS characters to the Wii U version.
The menu in the above image reads “Connect to a Wii U: You can exchange custom fighters or use your Nintendo 3DS as a Wii U controller.”
This is a great move and will encourage people to buy both the versions. We will keep you updated once Nintendo officially announces it.
The game will be released on October 3 for the 3DS and will come out on the Wii U sometime later this year.
